The 7-Day Shift That Rewired My Business (Step-by-Step in 23 Minute, Plus How You Can Join the CEO Reset Challenge) (Copy)

The 7-Day Challenge That Helped Me Retire a $100K Program, Land C-Suite Speaking Gigs, and Realign My Business for Growth

If you’ve ever felt like your business is pulling you in too many directions, this is for you.

This is a behind-the-scenes look at how I’ve recalibrated my work at key moments—and why I now swear by a 7-day reset that I run twice a year. It’s not about hustle. It’s about alignment. And this one’s especially timely because we’re kicking off the CEO Reset Challenge in Out of Office Club next week.

Whether you’re joining us or not, here’s the full breakdown of the process. You can follow along and implement on your own terms.

Why I Reset Twice a Year

At the start of every year—and again mid-summer—I go through a personal reset process. It’s my version of stepping out of the weeds to look at the big picture of my business and life. This isn’t a “set your goals” or “manifest your dream board” thing (though I love a dream board). It’s deeper.

It’s a pause. A zoom-out. A moment to ask:

Is what I’m doing still aligned with where I’m going?

This year, that process led to major decisions:

  • Retiring The UnSchool, my signature course that brought in $100K annually.

  • Shifting away from viral, top-of-funnel social content.

  • Landing four high-level paid speaking gigs, including a keynote with a beauty industry C-suite team.

  • Doubling down on building Casa Noon, my beauty brand.

Every pivot started with this reset.

The 7-Day CEO Reset: A Daily Breakdown

We’re walking through this in Out of Office Club starting next week. But here’s how you can do it, too:

Day 1: Rediscover Your Why

Before you optimize anything, ground into your purpose. Why did you start your business? Who are you doing it for beyond yourself?

This day is all about:

  • Defining your unique edge

  • Clarifying who your “perfect people” are

  • Understanding what they crave and how you’re the solution

📌 Try this: Create a vision board for your ideal customer. Place your offer in the center of their world.

Day 2: Redesign Your Time

You can do anything, but you can’t do everything. Audit your current schedule and ruthlessly remove what doesn’t serve your vision.

Ask:

  • Where is my time going?

  • What tasks no longer align with where I’m headed?

  • How can I make space for the work that truly matters (like pitching speaking gigs or building a brand)?

Hot tip: Replace “Let’s jump on Zoom” with a “walk-and-talk” call. Your schedule (and body) will thank you.

Day 3: Study a Brand You Admire

Reverse engineer a brand or business that lights you up. This isn’t about copying—it’s about decoding the strategy behind the magic.

Ask:

  • What is their customer experience like?

  • How do they sell and show up?

  • What patterns in their content or funnels are repeatable?

📈 Real example: I studied a creator I admired and built The UnSchool funnel based on her structure. The result? A multi-six-figure launch.

Day 4: Audit Your Revenue Flow

This is the money day. Literally.

Where is your income coming from—and what’s draining your resources? Use my Co-CEO GPT to audit your revenue by simply uploading a screenshot or summary of your income/expenses. Or, go old-school with pen and paper.

Ask:

  • What products or services felt easy and aligned?

  • What expenses aren’t serving me anymore?

  • Where can I expand or pull back?

💸 If you’re retiring a $100K offer like I did, you must know what will replace it. This step is crucial.

Day 5: Clarify Your Offer

If you’re unclear about what you sell, your customers are too.

Use this day to:

  • Refine your product suite

  • Define the transformation you offer

  • Write your “challenge statement” (we do this inside SGMM)

Example:

“I help [perfect person] achieve [result] through [signature offer].”

Even if you sell fuzzy slippers, the transformation might be “cozy luxury delivered to your doorstep.”

Day 6: Simplify How You Sell

Now it’s time to show up. But not everywhere.

Pick your primary platforms and commit:

  • IG + Email + Podcast = my zone

  • Choose 1–3 channels max

  • Reintroduce your offer with clarity and conviction

Ask:

  • Where do I naturally connect with my audience?

  • What format feels fun and sustainable?

  • What’s the most direct path to conversion?

🎙️ Pro tip: Re-introduce your product at least once a month. Most people don’t remember what you do unless you remind them.

Day 7: Reflect + Commit

This is the integration day.

Ask:

  • What insights surfaced this week?

  • What bold decision do I need to make?

  • How do I want to feel in my business?

For me, that answer was clear: I wanted to feel like a founder stepping into thought leadership. That meant retiring The UnSchool and pivoting my content away from clickbait growth into long-term brand resonance.

Ready to Do It With Us?

If you’re reading this and nodding along, come join the challenge. The 7-Day CEO Reset kicks off inside Out of Office Club next week. Each day, you’ll get:

  • A short, digestible email with your action step

  • A community of ambitious women doing the work alongside you

  • A soft structure that helps you focus (in 15 minutes or less a day)

And if you’re catching this after the kickoff? The replay is always available inside the club.

Final Thought

Doing this reset changed my year. It gave me the clarity to pivot confidently, invest wisely, and build brands that feel like extensions of who I am—not just products on a shelf.

If you're ready to feel more in charge, aligned, and lit up by your business again—this is your invitation.

Let’s do this.

🎧 Takeaways:

A magnetic brand isn’t built by accident — it’s built with intention and iteration.

Your ‘why’ isn’t fluff — it’s fuel.

The difference between founders who scale and those who stall? They reflect and recalibrate often.

There’s no need to burn it all down — sometimes you just need a smarter reset.
